Repurposed Parrallam construction beam, carved, with patina of soil dug out of a 100 year old barn floor near the Grays River of southwest Washington State. Base is repurposed southern yellow pine heartwood found in a pile from a demolished Florida cracker house in Seville, Florida, burnished black gesso, brass rod. This box was accepted into the annual box show at the Northwest Woodworkers Gallery in Seattle, Washington, but the show was canceled as the board of directors decided to close the gallery.
