At the Center: Masters of American Craft

A Journey - Twenty Seven Years of the Work of Irish Woodturner Emmet Kane

Since early 2015, the National Museum of Ireland (specifically the Decorative Arts & History Museum) has been celebrating the life and work of Irish wood artist Emmet Kane with “A Journey: Twenty-Seven Years of the Work of Irish Woodturner Emmet Kane”. Originally scheduled to be on view for six months, the response has been so overwhelmingly positive that the Museum decided to extend the show’s run through the end of 2016 before travelling it to New York.
