Shadow of The Turning and American Dream
The LA Craft & Folk Museum is proud to present "Binh Pho: Shadow of the Turning" from September 27, 2015, through January 3, 2016. In conjunction with the exhibition, a benefit auction featuring work by Binh Pho is currently underway.
See announcement by Kevin Wallace below.
"American Dream", a benefit for the Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts, features work by Binh Pho in celebration of the opening of "Shadow of The Turning" at the Craft and Folk Art Museum, Los Angeles, and his role in the Academy Award nominated documentary "Last Days in Vietnam", recently debuting on PBS as part of the American Experience Series.
"American Dream" references Binh's journey from Communist Vietnam to Freedom in the United States, documented in "River of Destiny: The Life & Art of Binh Pho", written by Kevin Wallace, Director of the Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts.
The works in the auction illustrate "Shadow of The Turning", Pho and Wallace's most recent collaboration.
Online bidding for auction items is underway and will be going live on September 27th at 5 pm.
