On April 21, 2017, PBS will premiere "Nature," an episode in its CRAFT IN AMERICA series. According to the PBS website, "[this] series explores America's creative spirit through the language and traditions of the handmade, and will take you on a journey to the artists, origins and techniques of American craft. Each episode contains stories from diverse regions and cultures, blending history with living practice and exploring issues of identity, ritual, philosophy and creative expression."

Artists will explore the beauty and wonder of the natural world. Among those interviewed is Michelle Holzapfel, whose woodturning and carving will be featured. Other art forms to be highlighted are fiber, glass, and book art, and sculpting.
