A piece inspired by the Fibonacci series of numbers and a tribute to tribute to Leonardo Pisano Bigolio, otherwise known and Fibonacci. His work, Liber Abaci, is the book that is largely responsible for bringing the Arabic numerical system, and the basic math that derives from it, to Europe in the 12th century. He also popularized the Fibonacci series and its derivative the Golden Mean, although it was known centuries before in India. This piece has 13 spirals in one direction and 21 in the other.
