"Line as volume rather than shape" is reflected here in a surface that appears constantly in motion, the visual elements laying themselves over the surface like images from a cloud. The core element of the form is a sphere, here constrained in the middle and reduced at the top. The result is a sense that the energy of the interior is being quietly restrained by the skin of the wood.
