This box is made of Turkish Boxwood, and was made on a Rose Engine Lathe, and cut with the F-4, Cupids Pattern. On the box in between the lid is a bracelet in the form of a cupids bow, and conforms with the lid & box. On the African Blackwood Bracelet there are eight different ornamental turned cabochons of boxwood & betel nut. The top of the box lid has an insert of African Blackwood & Betel Nut which leads up to the Blackwood Finial that is topped off with a turned Betel Nut. The finial supports 2 finger rings made of Blackwood & Betel Nut, of which one is ornamental turned. Inside the box are two additional finger rings made of Betel Nut & African Blackwood, along with a Ornamental Turned Pendant made of African Blackwood, Turkish Boxwood & Betel Nut with Sterling silver clasp. Inside the lid is a F-6 Archie medallion of African Blackwood and Betel Nut. The bottom of the box is also cut in the Cupids F-4 pattern along with an insert of African Blackwood of the matching Pattern. Together they form a beautiful ornamentally turned ensemble. This box was shown on the cover of the December 2010 issue of the American Woodturner Magazine.
