This teapot has a core of stack laminated poplar. The surface application is of found objects including, broken and carved china wear, coffee mugs and ash trays, also a number of vintage ceramic salt and pepper shakers, dice marbles and magnetic refrigerator letters. The lid is hand painted wood to resemble the mosaic on the pots surface. Many teapots are in private collections and to date I know a couple have found their way into museum collections including the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art and The Celestial Seasonings Collection.
