Pat and Karen Miller

A hollowform from Ancient Kauri a wood from a buried swamp in New Zealand. Karen drew the pattern, applied the color and did the stipple burn pattern. I turned the vessel, carved the pattern and applied the lacquer finish. The name "hoa noho" is "neighbor" in the Maori language.
