Cherry, painted wood flocked with sand. This sculpture is about the mass graves found toward the end of the war in Kosovo. The dog is an Anatolian Shepherd. Over 100 partially clothed and naked bodies are carved in wood and coated with white sand so they look like cast glass. The dog, whose body represents the opening of the earth, carries the gesture that it is about to vomit.
