Big AL

Norm Sartorius

2002    Size   H: 2.75 in  W: 6.5 in  D: 14 in

In a museum - Permanent Collection of the Fuller Craft Museum

Donated by: Pat McCauley

Fuller's purchase of Big Al was funded by Pat McCauley. Algerita is a Sonora Desert bush. This wood always has holes, cracks, and seems to have survived in spite of very harsh conditions. Big Al seems like a bar bouncer of a spoon, a rough, tough guy with lots of battle scars.
