A sapwood bridge crosses the bowl of the spoon. An organic piece that grew from a tempting piece of wood given to me 6 years ago by Terry Martin. The wood is Australian Snakewood. Combines every virtue I look for: Color, figure, texture, natural weathering, heartwood sapwood interplay, form, negative space, and character.
