Two weeks in China, October 2014, were fabulous! I spent eight days participating in a sculpture-carving competition with 18 international sculptors and 20 carvers from China. Following the competition, we stayed for the World Crafts Council's Golden Jubilee Summit. This adventure launched me full-speed into a new phase of my life.
"Retired" in June 2014 from editing American Woodturner and now back in my studio full time!
I am invited to be the photojournalist for the 2016 Center for Art in Wood's Windgate International Turning Exchange program where I work with the five residents to develop an approach to documenting their residency. Look for a new series based on combining my editing experience and artwork with their work to document and what they bring to the program.
